Custom Circuit Board Design

Do your requirements include microprocessor or microcontroller circuits that are not available off-the-shelf? PTR Group engineers offer the complete solution, custom software running on custom hardware. We specialize in PowerPC, ARM, PICC and Ubicomm designs with a myriad of memory, storage and input/output options. Our customers field critical systems designed by PTR for communications, navigation and control. Previous design experience includes everything from simple single chip 16-bit designs to complex 32-bit processor, MMU, cache and dynamic memory designs. We include custom programmable logic, power over ethernet (PoE), communications interfaces, analog input/output, digital input/output, multi-criteria sensors, audio input/output, displays, human interface components and other circuits to meet custom requirements.

Let us package your COTS components and custom circuit cards. PTR engineers package components into custom 19-inch rack enclosures. Or perhaps the design demands a custom extruded, stamped, forged or machined enclosure? PTR engineers produce custom designs using state-of-the-art milling machines, lathes and related tools. And we migrate the custom designs into drawing packages for small-scale production. Our mechanical designs mirror our circuit card and software designs, tough and reliable for use in extreme conditions. PTR engineers produce enclosures that survive mil-spec heavyweight shock, vibration and EMI testing regimes.
